Sayaka Ichii turns 40 today, December 31, 2023! It is really remarkable how fast time seems to go by doesn’t it? I have not updated this website since October 2023 due to being very busy but I will try to update this site more often in 2024. We are heading into a new year, 2024 and I write about this former Morning Musume member literally one day before the new year! Sayaka Ichii turns 40 in the same year that Yuko Nakazawa, the oldest former member of the group celebrated her 50th birthday in June 2023! Of all of the older members of Morning Musume, the only member to be under the age of 40 as of this writing is Asuka Fukuda, who was born in 1984. Happy Birthday! You deserve all the best that life has to offer! I express my deepest gratitude and love to a member of one of the most popular girl groups in the world.

Among the second generation members, I have always said that my favorite member of this generation has been either Ichii or Kei Yasuda. Now as we head into a new year, choosing who my favorite member of these two is going to be very hard. Having said that, I love both of these women and I wish them all the best in 2024.
